One upon a time New Zealand choreographer and dancer, Craig Bary, would describe contemporary dance as "the crazy f'd up shit that no one understands". But these days Craig is more inclined to define it as a pure, abstract and stunning dance form.
These days Craig is settled in Sydney however he finds himself back on our shores remounting Douglas Wright's work Rapt for the New Zealand School of Dance graduation.
Speaking with Lyne Pringle, Craig reflects on his career as a choreographer and dancer and defines those moments which he believes made him who he is.
