Be Ignited Dance Studio offers a unique street dance programme in the Eastern Bay of Plenty, specialising in performance coaching and competition crews. Our philosophy is to encourage self-expression, creativity as well as creating pathways for dancers who would like to pursue a career in the performing arts. All in a great family orientated environment. Ronna Funtelar Thacker began performing at the age of 20, through her local musical theatre society. During this time she discovered her love for hip hop, and over 10 years on decided to share this passion by opening the studio. Her work has enabled her to pass on her knowledge as well as work alongside local youth.
