Bridging Styles with Carl Tolentino (NZDC)
Bridging Styles is a platform for selected dance artists to engage in critical, cultural and social topics which apply to dance in Aotearoa and across the globe. The aim is to engage artists with questions which encourage them to talk about how their art form is developing and how it can transcend on to other styles while creating an understanding across the board.
Carl Tolentino trained at Queensland Dance School of Excellence and the New Zealand School of Dance. After graduation Carl went on to perform with Black Grace, Okareka, in The World of Wearable Arts and is currently a full time dancer at The New Zealand Dance Company.
Bridging Styles is brought to you by Dance Aotearoa New Zealand, Matthew Moore and Andrew Cesan. With special thanks to Creative New Zealand and Foundation North.
