ABOUT DANZ

We are the national support organisation for dance in Aotearoa, New Zealand. For over 20 years DANZ has existed to provide support and services to the dance community in a mission to grow and sustain the art-form in New Zealand.

As a leadership organisation we aim to act as a collective voice for dance in New Zealand and raise its public profile. To achieve this we provide information and support services to all individuals, companies and organisations working in the dance industry.  These range from supporting and promoting initiatives in the areas of education, professional and recreational, as well as providing opportunities for professional development and capacity building.

DANZ strives to create a friendly, accessible, fair, and professional environment. Consulting, respecting the diversity of dance, encouraging opportunities for information sharing and dialogue are at the core of our service.
