We want to help get New Zealand dancing and highlight the value and joy the art-form can bring our society!! We have decided to get involved in NZ Dance Week once-again this year and host a Modern Jazz Workshop at Victory Performance Centre!

This is an opportunity for our students and members of the community to be introduced and engaged in the beautiful world of dance.

WORKSHOP: 1.5 hours and will include a warm up, travelling steps, technique drills and combos and conclude with choreography and warm down! The class will be appropriate for the advanced beginner to intermediate level.
LOCATION: at the Victory Performance Centre located at Central Dance Studios. Our studios are on Level 2/3 (right up the top). We are located just inside the McDonalds entrance on 260 Queen Street. The most affordable and closely located parking is the AT Council Parking on Victoria Street, or you can try here (you must book 30minutes in advance)

INSTRUCTOR: The class will be taught by Director of Victory Performance Centre, Teresa Victory. Teresa is a registered New Zealand Physiotherapist who graduated from Australian Catholic University in 2013. This gives her the eye for detail in teaching safely and getting the most out of your movement. She loves teaching beginners and excels in challenging the advanced dancer. She also achieved a Diploma in Dance in her training at Queensland Dance School of Excellence in 2009 and has two teaching Diplomas in Jazz and Tap of the C.S.T.D. syllabus.

Participants may even get the opportunity of picking up a goodie bag following a small performance and additional workshop on the Aotea Dance-o-Mat! More details to come!!
