WeZouk presents... WORKSHOPS WITH BEHROUZ AND KARA

Leona and Sophie are super excited to announce that Behrouz and Kara (Brisbane, Australia) are making their way over the ditch to visit WELLINGTON this May! Also joining them is Sibell, with whom Behrouz organises the Brisbane Zouk Festival. Behrouz and Kara will be teaching 4 Open Level workshops on Saturday 4th May, and all three of our guests will be joining us for plenty of social zouking too!!!

Workshop places will be limited to 15 leads and 15 follows so please register early to avoid missing out! It is recommended that you will have completed at least 1 term of beginner zouk - please ask your teacher if you are unsure of your level. Registration is through payment as instructed below – please remember to reference your full name and whether you are a LEAD or FOLLOW.

All communication will be via this facebook event, so once you have paid, please click GOING :)

To make our Brisbane visitors feel especially welcome, we will have an extra D4 social on Wed 1st May, as well as a Zouk party on the Saturday night, to “bookend” the workshops with some social dancing either side (separate facebook events to come but details listed below).

Theme: Well, I cannot resist pointing out that it will be International Star Wars Day (May the Fourth... be with you!)... but seriously, although I am a massive Star Wars fan, those costumes would be hot (Chewy), cumbersome (light sabres), impractical (C3PO), height restrictive (R2D2) and not conducive to the hair flicks of zouk (Princess Leia side buns)! Although I feel a Darth Vader cloak would work quite well :p Open to suggestions! PM me - Sophie ;)
