Tū Move is a four day workshop in hip-hop, street and contemporary dance for young Māori and Pacific Island men aged 14-18 at the New Zealand School of Dance in Wellington.

Tū Move is facilitated by graduates of the NZSD who have started and come through the workshop series. The series is a unique opportunity to discover new skills, and workshop ideas with Luke Hanna, Toa Paranihi and Connor Masseurs.

No matter what background of movement, sport, dance or simply walking to school, if you bob your head to a song then you are welcomed at Tū Move.” – Connor Masseurs

Tū Move workshops are also available to schools and communities by prior arrangement. If you’re interested in hosting a Tū Move workshop for your school or community, please email Head of Contemporary Dance, Paula Steeds-Huston | Paula.Steeds-Huston@nzschoolofdance.ac.nz
