Experimental Dance Week Aotearoa (NZ) is very excited to announce that it will be going ahead with its live festival this year 1st - 5th December 2020 at Herald Theatre thanks to Auckland Live.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the festival was postponed from June 2020, and given that it was previously half-international the new programme is mostly locally based artists with 4 from Australia.

The 2020 Programme is: Kyah Dove, Atlanta Eke, Charles Koroneho, Rebecca Jensen, Amber Liberté, Faasu Afoa-Purcell, Katrina E. Bastian, Kelly Nash, Joanne Hobern and Jazmine Rose Phillips, Zahra Killeen-Chance, Jessie McCall, Caitlin Davey, Alys Longley, Janaina Moraes, Neža Jamnikar, David Huggins.

The Full Programme will be launched soon.

We are excited to be able to continue with a live festival during this year due to Aotearoa's fast recovery and adapt to the changing conditions to support artists in the performing arts and associates to work during this challenging time.

We are super grateful to our sponsors; Creative New Zealand, DANZ, Auckland Live, Wellesley Studios, Foundation North and Auckland Council.
